Ando Masaharu
Director of Tenri Central Library. The Library was established in 1930, and the Library’s current holdings of over 1,450,000 volumes include materials especially noteworthy in the areas of religion, literature, and East Asian studies. Its collection of rare books, which includes over one hundred items designated as National Treasures, Valuable Cultural Properties and Important Artworks, is internationally well-known.
